PU Sughra Begum Center launches training program ![]() LAHORE: (Saturday, May 31, 2025): Punjab University Sughra Begum Centre for Education Policy and Development has launched a training program titled "Empowering Educators: Pedagogy, Curriculum, and Diversity in Pakistani Classrooms." On this occasion, Dean Faculty of Behavioral and Social Sciences Prof Dr Iram Khalid, Centre Director Dr Sonia Omer, Dr Shazia Humayun, Dr Naumana Amjad and others were present. Dr Sonia said that, ine the first phase, mid-career faculty from colleges of Lahore attended sessions led by Dr Shazia Humayun and Dr Naumana Amjad. She said that the initiative aims to improve teaching practices amid limited HEC funding, with plans for expansion. She said that it reflects the vision of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali to make PU a vibrant learning hub. Later, Dr Iram Khalid distributed certificates to the participants.
